End membership product

You end a product in many memberships, each from a reference date.

In short: You name the product and the first day on which it no longer applies. vynst ends the product in the matching memberships on the day before.

What you need this for

When a type of fee expires, for example a course fee at the end of the year, the memberships no longer need to be adjusted one by one. One file takes care of this for all affected entries.

Before you start

  • Rights: You need the role Administrator with write access for CRM and for products.
  • Imported beforehand: The product must exist in vynst, for example via Products (simple). The memberships must already be created.
  • Backup: The import cannot be undone at the click of a button. Before you start, export the affected data under Settings → Export (Einstellungen → Export).

Prepare the file

  • File name: The file must contain .csv. The rest of the name is free.
  • Header row: The first column is called LOG_BOOK_ENTRY_END_PRODUCT_IDENTIFIER, the second CHANGE_DATE. The date column must therefore come directly after the product column.
  • Separator: Semicolon or comma. Use the same character throughout the file.
  • Date: 01.09.2026 or 2026-09-01. An empty cell counts as today.

Columns

The import uses only these column names. vynst does not recognise any other spelling.

The row JUG;01.01.2027 means: the youth fee ends on 31.12.2026. The second row ends the product FAM from 01.01.2028. The third row ends the yoga subscription only for persons aged 18 from 01.01.2027.

How to proceed

  1. Open Settings → Import (Einstellungen → Import).
  2. Click Add (Hinzufügen) and select the file.
  3. Wait until the entry in the list is green.
  4. Read the log. Every row with Error: was not taken over.

Good to know

  • The date is the first day without the product. The entry ends on the day before.
  • If the entry only starts after the date, the product is removed from the entry.
  • If the entry already ends before the date, it remains unchanged.
  • Empty date cell: vynst ends the product from today. Check that every row has a date if you want a different reference date.
  • Without a filter, every row affects all memberships that still contain the product and are still running on the reference date.
  • Afterwards: vynst updates the subscriptions that result from the memberships in the background.

When something does not work
