Zapier
Connect vynst with more than 7,000 apps. Triggers for new persons, bookings, invoices or door openings, actions and searches for all major areas, plus raw API requests and AI tools.
Status: The Zapier integration “vynst” is built and tested but not yet listed in the Zapier directory. If you want to use it early, contact support.
With Zapier you connect vynst (inwendo ERP) to services such as Google Sheets, Slack, Mailchimp, HubSpot or Microsoft Teams without running a server. The integration covers essentially the same ground as the n8n node.
Connect
- In a Zapier step, pick the app vynst and click Connect.
- On the sign-in page, enter the address of your installation, for example
club.vynst.de. - Sign in with your vynst account and confirm the access.
Sign-in uses OAuth through the vynst connection service. Zapier never sees an API token of your installation. If you connected several installations, pick the right one in the vynst Installation field of each step.
Zapier can only do what the signed-in account may do in vynst. Triggers also need the Webhook (write) access right.
Triggers
All triggers are instant: vynst pushes the change to Zapier by webhook, Zapier does not poll. A trigger registers with vynst when you turn a Zap on and unregisters when you turn it off.

Every event carries the record type (iw_entity_short_class), its ID (iw_entity_id), the action (iw_action) and the data (data), just like webhooks. With integration_ha_access_events_enabled, Door Access and New Check-In add a short summary such as the lock and person name.
Actions and searches
You can create, update and find (by ID or search text) persons, companies, bookings, events, sign-ups, tickets, projects, time entries and news articles. Invoices and offers can be created and found; the search returns the PDF as a file. Persons, companies and tickets support “Find or Create”.
On top of that there are ready-made actions for:

If an area is switched off in vynst, the error message names the setting, for example volunteer_hours_enabled.
Everything else: API Request and AI tools
- API Request calls any endpoint under
/api/with method, path, query and JSON body. It reaches everything in the API reference, including deletes. Use it deliberately. - Run AI Tool and Find With AI Tool run a tool of the MCP server, for example
crm_search_personsorreport_members. The step’s fields are built from the tool description. Which tools you see depends on the rights and settings of your installation.
Good to know
- Loops: a Zap that reacts to “Updated Person” and changes the same person again triggers itself. Add a filter to such Zaps.
- Searches return the first 25 matches. Search precisely or by ID.
- IDs are entered as numbers. Take them from an earlier step, such as a search.
- Custom lock control like the n8n lock trigger is not available in Zapier. For your own locks, use n8n or Node-RED.
